I think my anxiety/depression is the problem with my chest pain and getting startled easy. I worry about a lot of such, such as having to work and how stuff can get paid. What will be done. Sometimes I just want to take a drive to see my best friend an hour away. I think that could help me.

Depression Feedback: A Doctor would talk to you about the problem you have then they will more then likely send you to some counselling. Then they would prescribe you some anti-depressant tablets to help you deal with the problem.

Depression Feedback: In your case, you’re right, maybe just relaxing or talking to a friend would help. But if you think that a doctor could help, go see a doctor. There are certain medications that could help you with this, and if that’s not enough or you don’t want medicine, you could always have therapy.
I hope this helps, good luck!

Depression Feedback: It depends on how bad your anxiety/ depression problem is. If you are having problems getting out of bed, eating too much or too little, and avoiding life, then the doctor might prescribe medication along with therapy. Medication alone isn’t usually prescribed. Talking with a professional not only allows you to get some ideas on how to handle the stress and worry, but they can assist your doctor in monitoring your medication.

If taking a drive to see your best friend will help, then do it. Maybe setting up a weekend once a month to go see your best friend will be just what you need.

Depression Feedback: Doctor will talk to you about mental health problem (Anxiety and Depression) and introduce you to have anti depression drugs, the common side effect is sedation.

Depression Feedback: First of all, you must be examined by your primary care physician to rule out physical problems, especially the chest pain. (I get startled easily too!).

If it’s determined your symptoms are not caused by a physical problem, you will likely be referred to a psychologist, psychiatrist, or even a mental health clinic (with Dr. on staff) for evaluation of your anxiety/depression and the best course of action.

Please see someone whose specialty is mental health. If you have automobile problems, you don’t take your car to a day spa for diagnosis and repair, so it is vital that you get the proper advice/treatment from a mental health professional! They are most aware of the classes of conditions and the specific psychotropic meds (if needed) that best treat your individual needs.

Is there something preventing you from driving to visit your best friend? If not, go for it — good friends are often just what the doctor ordered!

May God bless you, my friend!
