Do I have OCD? Obsessive Compulsive Disorder? Is OCD Common? Friends say I might have OCD. Is O.C.D. a symptom of Depression? I am repeatedly checking that my parked car has been locked before leaving it; turning lights on and off a set number of times before exiting a room; repeatedly washing my hands at regular intervals throughout the day… What are the best OCD Meds?

Can you answer Question Queen ?’s question about Depression?:
I mean, if they’re both the same symptoms to 2 completely different mental disorders, then why do doctors wanna call you both? If you show you have OCD already, & you spend because you feel like you gotta have this & that JUST in case because you’d rather be safe than sorry, then why do they wanna call you Bipolar, as well? If excessive spending is one of your compulsions, then why do they try to say you’re Bipolar, too? Why can’t doctors leave well enough alone? & why does EVERY patient have to be considered Bipolar these days?
Alternative Depression Treatment

Can you answer Macabre’s question about Depression?:
ok so one of my OCD things is im “afraid” of the floor, and im afraid of my pet cat cause im worried that she could have mites, or fleas, or dirt on her. anyway so i still pet her but i have to wash my hands afterwards. anyway i used to let her sleep in my bed with me…..but not anymore…do you have any tips on how i can overcome this and let her come in my room? any steps i can take?
dankstabang-nice try..i already know about those bugs, and i cant see them, and they have always been there so i am not bothered by them….and they are on everyone so no big deal
